I figured the nastiest darkness would smell kind of sewage... unfortunately, I speak from personal experience. Don't stand downwind of an "environmental services" truck when one shows up to empty a septic tank, because the stench is nauseating.

Pure light tastes like whipped cream and cookies. It was an odd combination with the soy sauce darkness...
